The first image of the LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN arcade leaked a few weeks ago, but today marks the official presentation. VIP pre-sales will commence on May 1, 2023, in the LEGO Shop for $269.99/€269,99/£229.99, followed by the regular release on June 4. Early adopters will receive two gifts with their purchase: LEGO 40589 Pirate Ship Playground and 40529 Children’s Amusement Park.

LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN arcade celebrates the 43rd anniversary of the world-famous yellow muncher, which is yellow because designer Iwatani drew inspiration from the iconic yellow of the LEGO brick. Originally released on May 22, 1980, by Namco in Japan, PAC-MAN became a cultural icon. After 40 years of being a part of popular culture worldwide through games, TV shows, music, and more, the Danish company, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, has brought back the ’80s classic in LEGO form.
The model consists of 2,651 bricks and stands at a height of 32 cm (12.6 inches), with dimensions of 25 cm (9.8 inches) in width and 17 cm (6.7 inches) in depth. Builders can maneuver the red joystick in four directions, and a side lever allows you to replicate the chase with a mechanical maze, providing the option to open the back panel and observe the mechanism. At the back of LEGO Icons 10323 PAC-MAN, there is also space to recreate an ’80s scene, complete with a female gamer minifigure and a display box featuring rotating figures of PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and CLYDE.
The set is equipped by LEGO with an illuminated coin slot and an adjustable scoreboard. To change the direction and behavior of the PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and CLYDE characters, you simply need to press a button on the display base.
