The name A-Frame cabin is a reference to the characteristic roof. The set consists of the main building and many small details around it. Outside there is a deck with stairs down to the outdoors – where you will find a woodshed and trees where a friendly squirrel lives.
The minifigures can cozy up by the fireplace, jam with the acoustic guitar or take a trip in the canoe. The roof is removable for easy access to the upstairs bedroom and the downstairs living room, study and kitchenette. The set also includes 3 colorful trees that can be connected to create an island.
About his design, Andrea said the following: “I was looking at a book with many strange houses from around the world and I discovered the A-Frame and it was love at first sight. I started with a sketch so I had a clear vision and then I built my design in about 10 days.”
To celebrate the launch of LEGO Ideas 21338 A-Frame Cabin, LEGO has put a special livecam online, where you can retreat into nature and see what’s happening in the forest. You might even spot the squirrel.
