Earlier this week, an image of the LEGO Icons 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90 was leaked, but the Danish company has now officially announced the set. Starting April 1st, 2023, the Classic Defender will be available for purchase in the LEGO Shop for £209.99/ €239.99 / $239.99.

The LEGO Icons 10317 Land Rover Classic Defender 90 is a model consisting of 2336 bricks, based on the 1983 two-door variant. The sand green body and wheels with a white roof come with an option of choosing between the Land Rover Estate or an off-road variant. With functional steering and suspension, along with opening doors and hood, the Defender also offers the builder a choice between two engines. The model’s size stands at 16 cm tall, 16 cm wide, and 32 cm long, exclusive of accessories.

Mounted on the roof, a roof rack holds various accessories, such as two jerry cans, a working yellow jack, a shovel, a pickaxe, a tool chest, and traction mats to navigate through muddy terrain. On the back, a spare tire and a fire extinguisher can be found. The front is equipped with a snorkel, a spare tire, and a winch. Inside, the model features an accurate interior design, complete with a coffee mug for the driver.
