The Chevrolet Corvette C1 is the first generation of the Corvette sports car, produced from 1953 to 1962. The model was initially introduced as a concept car at the General Motors Motorama auto show in 1953 and was quickly put into production. The C1 Corvette is an iconic American sports car design and is often considered one of the most beautiful sports cars of all time. It had a low and wide body, a V8 engine, and a top speed of around 190 km/h. In total, approximately 69,000 units of the C1 Corvette were produced.
