Last year, LEGO revived The Lord of the Rings theme with the launch of LEGO Icons 10316 Rivendell. According to a survey conducted by LEGO, images also surfaced of Barad-dûr (which unfortunately we cannot show due to the watermark). The famous tower built by Sauron as his central stronghold in Mordor, as seen in The Lord of the Rings, will be released in June 2024 as LEGO Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings – Barad-dûr. The final design will consist of 5471 pieces and have a suggested retail price of $459.99/€459,99.
LEGO Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings – Barad-dûr
The design shown in the survey measures 83 centimeters in height, 44 centimeters in width, and 36 centimeters in depth. While there may have been changes made by LEGO in the meantime, the image of Rivendell closely resembled the final set. Inside the tower, you’ll find various chambers, including cells and armories. The set comes with 10 minifigures: Sauron, Mouth of Sauron, Nazgûl, Frodo, Sam, Gollum, two brown orcs, and two green orcs.
