In February of last year, it was announced that the LEGO Ideas project Red London Telephone Box would receive a commercial release, and today marks the unveiling of the final design. The set will be launched on February 1, 2024, as LEGO Ideas 21347 Red London Telephone. The model will have a recommended retail price of €114,99/£99.99/$114.99 in the LEGO Shop.

The world-famous red telephone box is known as an icon of British culture and is recognized worldwide. They can still be found in numerous cities and villages throughout the United Kingdom. The design by John Cramp, known as Bricked1980, is based on the early version of the telephone box, the “K2,” created in 1924 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott specifically for use in London.

LEGO Ideas 21347 Red London Telephone Box consists of 1460 bricks and features various details. The model’s door can be opened to access the interior, allowing the builder to choose between a rotary dial telephone or a push-button variant from the 1990s. In addition to the telephone booth, the set includes a light brick activated by pressing on the roof of the phone. Furthermore, there is a section of sidewalk with a lantern and hanging flower baskets, a flowerpot, and a fence with a street sign. The set can also serve as a stand for a mobile phone. The model measures 19 cm in length, 31 cm in height, and has a diameter of 15.6 cm.
