LEGO NINJAGO fans can expand their city this summer with LEGO NINJAGO 71799 City Markets. In January, it was announced that the market would be the third expansion in the NINJAGO City series, following the harbor and garden. Today, the set has been officially announced.

LEGO NINJAGO 71799 City Markets
LEGO NINJAGO 71799 City Markets consists of 6163 pieces, an increase of 478 pieces compared to the City Gardens set released in 2021. “On June 1st (VIP pre-sale), the set will be launched for $/€369.99 in the LEGO Shop, which amounts to 6 cents per brick. Due to its size, the model comes with more than just a 32×32 plate.
The building has 4 floors and includes a functioning cable car with two stations, a bakery, a boat, apartments, a Borg store, market stalls, an elevator, a rooftop food court, and much more. The NINJAGO City set is 46 cm tall, 51 cm wide, and 25 cm deep. There are 21 minifigures included, including all six ninjas, Master Wu, Garmadon, Pixal, Vinny, Okino, Miss Demeanor, Twitchy Tim, and Cyrus Borg.

NINJAGO City Modular Series
LEGO NINJAGO 70620 City (2017)
In 2017, LEGO released the first set in the NINJAGO City modular series: LEGO NINJAGO 70620 City for €/$299.99. This model has 4967 pieces and 16 minifigures. A year later, it was time for LEGO NINJAGO 70657 City Docks for €/$229.99 with 3553 pieces and 13 minifigures. Both sets are no longer available and can only be purchased on sites like eBay and BrickLink for significantly higher prices.
LEGO NINJAGO 71741 City Gardens (2021)
LEGO NINJAGO 71741 City Gardens is the latest addition to the series. The model consists of 5685 pieces and is currently the largest NINJAGO set. The set comes with 20 minifigures, including a golden Wu, which allows you to complete the collection of golden ninja’s from the NINJAGO Legacy series. LEGO released the set in 2021 for €/$299.99, but since August the price has been increased to €/$349.99.
